Ok so my parents are divorced and I live with my mom and my dad lives a little bit away and I visit him some times but not often, so my question is I'm 15 and I haven't had "the talk" with my dad. Is that wierd and do you think I will have "the talk".

not all people get "the talk" from there rents, i never did, and i turned out just fine! so no its not wierd you havent had the talk, but if you want/need to know somthing and you feel confortable asking your dad, thats not a bad thing

no, i don't think it is weird. i kno people who were 16 or 17 before they got "the talk," and peopel who haven't had it at all. if your this concerned you could always ask your mom. if you think this would make it even more awkward tho, i would wait until i visit with him again, or talk to some very good friends that i kno would be serious about it

i don't think it is weird.
I got most of my sex-ed from school. My parents rarely talk to me about sex related stuff.

The parents that don't give you "the talk" understand that you're intelligent enough to discover life's lessons on your own. They probably also don't want to create awkwardness and don't want to be "uncool" in your eyes. Trust me, they wouldn't send you out into the real world without the knowledge of these kinds of topics.

Yeah, a lot of people never get the talk. I've gotten versions of the talk from my mom, so...

Not everyone gets the talk. I never did. But unless you and you're dad get along pretty well and could talk about that stuff easily, not having 'the talk' could possibly save you from some akward moments.

I'm an adult and my mother STILL gives me the talk, in gross and graphic detail, despite the fact I know more about sex than SHE does. So if your dad isn't giving you the talk, don't let it bother you. But I mean, if you really wanna, just say, "Dad, yeah, um, so what were you saying about sex again?"

I haven't gotten the talk. It's nothing bad not to get it - that's why you're here, right?

2 many of us come from broken homes. Really why does your father have to talk to u. Anyone who knows what they r talking about and one u feel comforatble with can do the same job and amy be even better then your pa.
Even an older friend or a uncle or teacher u trust will do. May be u have an older brother, or cousin?
