I got 3s which is what I expected considering the lack of prep I did

hahah. true. I probably would have done better if I was able to get the prep-guides

Wait, they have inorganic and organic chem APs now? Nifty.
Back in the day I did micro and macro econ because Princeton doesn't give credit for IB econ, got 5 in both (would've been a waste otherwise since I needed a 5 for credit). That was all, got credit for all my math/chem/physics IBs. It was a bit of a waste, too, since I ended up taking macro again. :P

I disagree. It can be really, really easy. I took a math/science focused diploma load and had teachers who didn't care how much work I did as long as it was obvious that I understood everything. So I did about 4 hours of work a week average in my diploma years, I'd say... finished senior year in April and got optional school until exams for studying.. and it all got me into a college I was more than happy with. One of the best things I ever did, by far.

my older brother got two 5's and one 4.
I think it was AP Biology he got a 4 in. don't remember what AP tests he took.

Well maybe it is because IB here is only a Junior/Senior year thing and basically they make you do so much work, that IB kids basically die it seem (or are just big complainers).
IB truly sucks, especially when I talk to all of the people that I know (maybe about 20 percent of the school) that is in IB.

Complaining too much about the IB is as much a part of the curriculum as anything else. :P
Antares
July 28th, 2010, 12:14 AM
Well the people at my school certainly excel at that curriculum :P
