That's it for this year for me, a nice 6 week long break awaits! Who else has broken up from school?

I have, and I'm two weeks into it. Although my holiday is eight weeks long, but that's because I have longer school days.

I will be going to York to stay round a friend's house for a few days. Not sure exactly what I'll be doing, but it'll probably involve a walk all across the castle wall for excersize like it did last time. Otherwise, I'm not entirely sure. What do you usually do in the summer holidays?

I finished nearly two months ago. And I start back in just over a month.

Well, I'm going to Turkey for a couple of weeks but apart from that I do absolutely fuck all which is just the way I like it after a long year of school and exams etc. York sounds interesting, a few of my favourite bands come from there. I should probably go to places like York but I really cba. Laziness FTW...

To me, Turkey sounds more fun, but then again, that's just because it's abroad. Why is it that holidays abroad seem to sound more appealing than holidays in your own country? Or is it just me?

Not just you. It's cause it's hot and you actually get a good tan in these countries. They have good beaches and shit anyway unlike Great Britain, where the best we can come up with is shitholes like Brighton, Littlehampton and stuff. Plus, you can get shit for cheap at airports because of duty free.

Erm, well I might go Thorpe Park or something with family and go out with friends sometimes but usually I just sleep and generally be lazy. I can never think of stuff to do in the summer. Oh, I just realised that it's just us two on the thread now. Other people, you can join in if you want :D.

I'm quite lzy in summers too - I spend a lot of time sleeping. Anyway, it hasn't occured to me until now that this is kinda like PMs! So, what do other people like doing in their summers?

I think I'm starting school again on Tuesday in six weeks time (don't remember the exact date). Can't say I'm looking forward to doing my GCSEs for year 11 though.

I finished today, but i don't like summer holidays! i hate being at home with my parents i would prefer being in school really :/

well thats why we have the week end, i don't even like the week ends... -.-
And I'm getting always getting in trouble with my parents, theres nothing to do cause they don't really like going out with me :/ plus i suffer in the summer.
I just love school, specially to see my amazing best friend chloe <3
and some other stuff but that's more personal :)

We get a week and a half at Easter and 2 weeks for Christmas/New Year.

exacly, and i'm only on my third day ! this is torture... the only good thing about holidays is that I don't have to wake up at 5:45 every morning.

I never really had a summer, for me its been work, All American Lacrosse, College Lacrosse camps, and my school's Lacrosse camp. So Whatever, there is a a summer every year.

Our school District got out on May, 26. (But that is just because of snow days, we are usually out May, 19.)

It starts again on August, 23, and football starts on August, 16.

Well, a term is like 12 weeks (ish) but in the middle after 6 weeks we have a week off.
