What genre of games do you like

I like quite a few. Among my favourites would be RPGs, FPSs/TPSs, adventure, sword-fighting games, open-world games etc. You can probably imagine that games like Mass Effect, Fable, and Assassin's Creed are favourites of mine due to this.

I like anything if it has a good story to it. One of my favorite series is GTA because it get's you to know your character that you're playing as and you start to get involved into the game. I don't really like to play that game to just blow stuff up, because Rockstar works hard on the storyline.

^^Maybe you were trying to edit your post to change "get's" to "gets"? In all seriousness though, this seems to happen spontaneously, even to me.

I think that games nowadays are so focused on having good graphics and a nice game world, that they forget to put a game in it. For me, FarCry 2 did just that. As the above poster mentioned, a game should have a good story. Out of all the types of games, I would probably say that I like RPGs most. Especially so when they aren't riddled with ridiculous bugs, like Fallout 3 was.

CoD has large maps and a long storyline? Not being funny, but I find it to be quite the opposite. Assassin's Creed 2 (and possibly its prequel, but I haven't completed it); now that did have large maps and a long storyline.
