There is no real hygiene benefit and I find it offensive when guys suggest that to be uncut is somehow to be dirty. Its natural, and nature generally knows best. Thousands of years of evolution have not produced a design that needs bits snipped off at birth.

Because most parents don't know that a tight foreskin at an early age is actually natural and cures itself, so they let pro-circumcision doctors convince them that it is "necessary"

Of course there could be some extreme cases where it is actually needed, but for the most part is just that.

At least, that's why I ended up being cut.

a LOT of people think that being uncut is somehow dirty or will make you get diseases. i think most parents will cut their kids cause theyre cut and think its more "right". all the guys i talk to who are cut will tell me (im uncut) that being cut is cleaner, that its better, even that it makes your dick grow bigger. its just that people think being cut is a lot better/healthier than it really is.

seem 2 me it is more of a thing u guys do in the united states more than anywhnere else in the whole world. i was born in canada and a native american. native americans 4 the majority do not cut boys. and uncut boys and men are common in canada. cut guys in canada r mainly jewish or muslim boys. not the norm in canada. the reason 4 cut boys in the usa i think is u guys think it is 4 hygene reasons. and like father like son. if i have a boy i will not cut him. both i think r ok, but will not cut my boy. i do not know when u guys started cutting males in the usa. maybe something u did all along. i do not know.

I think it's the mothers who want to do "something" so they just have their boy-babies circumcised. Doctors like the extra money and so it's just something to do. LEAVE US BOYS COMPLETE. One big reason that males such as myself get mutilated as infants is that their fathers are mutilated themselves and want to feel better about it by having you 'be like them', and their mothers feel better about caring for a circumcised penis because they've heard from doctors that it is "cleaner", and since they can't see underneath that skin, they are afraid of what they cannot see. I also say money because the circumcision business in the United States is a multiple-hundred million dollar market. In addition to the money made by the doctors that 'perform' the mutilations, the removed foreskins are then used to make beauty products and skin grafts, which are then sold. So, the reason why most Americans are circumcised (whoops, only males; everyone is absolutely horrified if the female equivalent) is the majority's stupid egos and corporate greed.

well i wasn't born in the USA (im half american) but when i got older i had to be cut because even thought i kept myself clean there where small cuts in my foreskin which eventually got bigger so i think in certain situations(like mine) its better to be cut

In my case, it was a little bit religious but also mostly because of my parent's desire to "look like your father and brother."

Americans, because for many decades most of them were cut, mostly believe that a circumcised penis looks better. That's not the case in most places around the world though lol.
