Hello, I absolutely love Celtic music and was wondering if anyone else on this site did too. If so, which Celtic artists do you like or would you recommend?

I am from Ireland, and I have such a strong STRONG dislike of Celtic and Irish music. To me, and the rest of my family it is just diddly-eye-shite.

That's not what I asked and why, call yourself Irish if you don't even appreciate it's culture? To me it sounds like you and your family are rebellious tradition haters like that creep Mao za dong

why is it that the typical american expects us to be singing around pots of gold at the end of bloody rainbows?! he doesn't like the genre of music that doesn't mean you have the right to question his nationality?!

I wouldn't say that's the typical American attitude. I'd say that's a rather small, albeit annoying, minority. Besides, he's not even American, he's Canadian.

That I believe, but that's because your (the Irish) accent sounds amazing. For some reason a lot of Americans love accents. I'd just take that as a compliment. I know women who'd sleep with you just because of that accent.

Um I moved from Killarney at the age of seven, sorry to be proud of who I am and my heritage it's just odd to hear someone dislike a big part of their country, that's like me saying I hate Québécois or French. It's just odd. And I didn't question his nationality if you read that properly I said "why call yourself Irish?" not that he wasn't.

Because of my oneirophobia I tend to have trouble sleeping. So when I'm ready to try I play Celtic music. It relaxes me.
