What if i cut too deep????

IM AFRAID WHEN I CUT TONIGHT IF I MIGHT CUT TOO DEEP. And then ill freak out by trying to control my blood from spilling out. :(:confused::(:confused:

Simple as that. It's not a good habit to start anyway.

That's not entirely true. Most people don't have suicidal intentions when they SH. It's not about suicide. It's tryIng to deal with the pain physically so we won't have to do it mentally.

And when in doubt do without. Don't get sucked down this path.

i cant bcs i cant handle my pain emotionally so i cut to make it exist my body i just dont wanna cut too deep so i freak out my parents. I love my parents and i dont want to let them down, i put on temperary tatoos on my arm, from TaTToodles.

But, well...it takes alot to go too deep...i haven't done it deep enough even for stitches...lol...but, if your careful and if you think theres too much blood then stop....i think you'll be alright...

The only way you can be prepared, is to know first aid. I'm not sure you would know that your going to cut too deep though ...

It takes alot more than you think to cut too deep. Your body is stronger than you think. But obviously any form of cutting is dangerous, deep or not deep, so be careful.

As the others have said, if your afraid of going to deep dont do it
You can end up doing more harm that you wanted to

I've been to hospital multiple times from cutting too deep & requiring a lot of stitches(these scars won't ever go away either) & nicking veins, I'd be very careful if I were you, you don't want to experience that or have perm scars either, or worse, lose your life from severe blood loss - yes this can happen.
I'd suggest looking at other coping mechanisms & speaking to someone.
