Boxers are much looser, long like short-shorts, and briefs are more snug, and the legs are all the way up.

Boxers are loose and sort of square in shape. Briefs are tighter and cling against your genitals, triangular in shape.

Boxer briefs cling and support your genitals, while boxers are loose and just provide coverage but no support.

Boxers are just kinda like shorts, but shorter. Breifs are really tight and hold everything close to you.

Boxers are baggy underwear. As someone else said, they look sort of like shorts. They are the most popular because they're renowned for being the most comfortable - you have a lot of room to let everything dangle. As a result, everything stays cooler.

They're also considered the most "manly" and "grown up".

Briefs are tighter underwear - their purpose is support for your little goodie bag and party snake. They have the leg part cut off, just fitting around the pubic area and around the hips. They're recommended for long periods of sitting (because they don't ride up like boxers do) or for athletic activities because (because they don't allow everything to bounce around).

They're considered a little more young and dated, especially because you can see the package easier in these.

Boxer-briefs are a hybrid. They grip the hips like briefs, but they also grip the legs. They have the more accepted style of boxers (being longer), but still provide support like briefs.

Personally, I wear boxers around the house, during the warm months and with shorts. I wear boxer briefs during the colder months, when I'm wearing tighter pants or when I'm going exercising, because I don't want my package bouncing around while I'm running.

It's all based on personal preference and you can wear whatever you want.

Yeah you can see the difference above and now it is up to what you choose and if it was my choice I would choose boxers because they are the most comfy and who cares if you package bounces for me it adds to the fun of wearing them.
