I actually don't look at the brands of the things I buy. Though I certainly avoid clothes that have nothing but one giant advertisement all over them. A few prime offenders of this would be the typical American Eagle and Hollister types of clothing.

I don't wear shirts with giant advertisements of the store on them. (Abercrombie, Hollister, etc). Wear jeans. Chuck Taylor High Tops.

Anything I can find at West 49. I don't really care if something has a brand name or not, it just depends on whether or not I like it.

Clothing, anything without giant ads across it. Or anything written on it that's directly showing the maker...

Shoes, converse. It's the only brand that fits my feet comfortably (I wear a mens 10 converse, 10 1/2 to 12(yeahh...) in other shoes, and often those 'other' shoes are too narrow)

Old Navy and Adidas. I don't really care if it has it's logo or name on the article, just as long it's not the entire design of the shirt.
