well i dont think that the boxers made it shrink, I think you possible miscalculated in your measurement, or that the first time you measured you were more horny which could make your dick harder, longer and then you were less horny the last time. and as for the cum getting everywhere, i would suggest that you just cum on your stomach or something and wipe it up with some tissue or even with your boxers since you already cum in them, and then just sleep nude or just in PJ pants if it would make you feel better

Have you experienced wet dreams? Do you know quite how messy it can be? I used to really pump it out when I got them and if that went all over the sheets they would still be sticky even after clean up. That's why I think it makes perfect sense for the OP to wear his boxers, it contains the mess and means you dont have to sleep in sticky goo for the rest of the night (if you wake up).
