Having problems with my meds?

I just switched my antidepressant medication to Prozac. I hate it though. It makes me feel like I'm high and I've gotten into fights with the TV and like started laughing at walls for no reason what so ever when I take it. Is this just because my body isn't used to it yet or does it just make me that crazy? Should I try and switch medications again?

Wait it out. Medications take time to start truly working.

If the side effects get too severe in the meantime, schedule an appointment with your doctor to talk about them.

Well I think it is working for the depression side...I am just not sure how the side effects will go. I think you should take note of all of the side effects and if they don't get better as time goes on, discuss it with your doctor. You can even talk to your pharmacist when you get a refill.

But these side effects don't see dangerous atm so it should be fine

Yeah for now just wait it out if it doesn't get better talk to your doctor.
