I didn't really like it. To be honest, they were not really accuratly portrayed. If you watch the tudors series they did a much better job.

I found Natalie Portman played the part excellently. There were a few innaccuracies but on the whole I found it to be one of my favorite movies.

For those who know the story before hand they might feel angered at the innacuracies. For those who saw the movie beforehand they would enjoy it and then(in my case, rapt with interest in the subject) research and find more information about it. The inaccuracies are slight enough that it isn't outrageous.

The acting was brilliant I would say. Just my personal opinion but I would place it above shakesperean classics.

Eh. I've never seen it, but I've always had a problem with victorian era themed movies. They never capture me, and most of the time I'm bored out of my mind.
