In this video its only a prototype, it will probably be alot better when its released in the fall. ( The date is October 15th I think )

So this guitar, is also a real guitar, and the game is played using strings. Of course the guitar isn't going to be high end, but for beginners its perfect.
And the drum is played using motion sensors.

This looks a lot like rock band 3, also coming out in fall. The new rock band has "pro" mode, which means you can play a 100+ button guitar controller. There's now keyboard in rock band 3. Pro drums is regular drums with 3 more pads (cymbals) and pro bass is the same as pro guitar.

This does look more innovative, but I don't like the drumming idea (being an expert drummer in guitar hero/rock band) because I need pad noise to keep a beat.

100+ Buttons? Holy shit... I think theres going to be problems with it though, not with the guitar itself but people pressing the wrong buttons by accident, like they know which one to press but they press on next to it too by mistake. Would you mind making a new topic about rock band 3?

That can happen on a real guitar. You can press the wrong string/fret or strum the wrong string, but it'll probably be easier than playing a real guitar.
