like the person above said try talking to her. find out the real reason behind her self harm. if it is just friend peer pressure thing thats one of the worst reasons to self injure. make sure she understands what she is getting into. Self injury is an addiction. tell her that doctors, and parents will see from the scars, and when she goes to apply for jobs. make sure she knows that one cut won't satisfy her, she'll want to do mroe each time and go deeper, and it's dangerous. she has to be willing to pay and spend lots of money on scar remover thigns, and wear long sleeves and pants in summer because she will have to hide it. it's no fun or games and it's certainly not cool to self injure, make sure she gets that. it afffects EVERYONE around her. she's not just hurintg herself but hurting others. now if it is other reasons she is self injuring over just be there for her. definately tell her about this site. cutting or any form of self injury is never the option... i've beeen a self injurer for 7 years.. it's no joke... she needs to stop.. the longer it goes on the harder it is to stop. perhaps you can tell an adult about it if it gets worse? i wish you the best of luck, PM me if you need somoene to talk to about htis or have any questions on self harm.

As the other have said you can still help her over the internet
Its important she knows she's not alone with this and that you can help her
And like sarah said, maybe get her to come on here, so she can see she's not alone and there are alot of people to help her
