I always check up on some old posters to see they got banned..it kinda scares me that it might happen to me!

What have they done wrong?

Reasons are not normally given out as to why people get banned, so the short answer is for breaking the rules. A lot of the recent bans have been for people that were very new to the site, most of them will most likely have been banned for innappropriate vms or pms or for being too old to join the site.

or maybe there were too many members so some were gotten rid of...
who knows???? (hypothetical question)

for example, take ramira. he joined not too long ago; a few days before me, and already he is banned. i haven't read all his posts, but maybe he was an 'excess member'...

No member on VT or any forum ever was banned because there were too many members. Epic Fail.

In no way, shape or form, was I insulting anyone. The post seemed like an epic fail because of the lack of common sense.

Oh Christ, the answer was given. The only way you get banned is by breaking the rules or being to old to join. Can this be closed, I feel it's taking a stupid turn.

use the report button.


Also the petty argument needs to stop especially since it started over nothing. If you want to continue it take it to pm but be warned that even if you break the rules there you won't get away with it.

Now back on topic...I rather not have to give an example in this thread to help answer it.

More than half of them are. Simple truth, you come here looking for things you aren't supposed to and you'll be gone within days.

Wow, I never knew VT attracted so many... weird people.

As a teen site it obviously would, but I didn't think it would be a normal thing.

They break the rules, and sometimes its hard to notice the people that get banned because they are usually not very noticeable people

There's a forum pruning system for that. Either way, enterprise was spot on.
