My friend's brother has it. That's all he does now... I don't see how, though. I've watched him play. It looks VERY boring. I mean, there isn't even music playing while you play.

I played it a little, but found it quite boring on the long run - the story is shallow, and the gameplay repetitive. Playing in a big team/guild is probably giving more fun, but it requires too much time investment, and I don't want to spend my whole life before a single game :).

I tried the 7 day trial and it wasn't bad. At the time though I was playing Runescape, which is/was much cheaper and, In my opinion, better. I might go and see how my little guy is doing actually...

Oh runescape. Im level 98 with lvl 87 magic and 10 mil..and i did desert treasure for ancient magicks.
I was the best out of all my friends :D
Good ol days of staying up all night playing.

Treasure trails, i actually hate those with my life.

FIRST I HAD TO FREAKING FETCH OBJECTS. THEN THE OBJECT TOLD ME THAT ID FIND THE TREAURE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS PLACE IN RUNESCAPE.

THEN AFTER ALL THAT I GET ANOTER TREASURE TRAIL MAP...

I dont see how wow is so addicting? What do people get addicted to cuz so far im getting a little annoyed of running around a vast area getting lost -_-

I hate how everyone thing it's like a drug. It's gotten a reputation for that. I can maintain a perfectly normal life and still have level 80 characters and alts. I've been playing for probably 3 years and recently have taken a break until the expansion (Cataclysm) comes out ! Let me know if you have any Q's about the game!

He didn't have the sound turned on. Blizzard uses full orchestras/choirs for in-game music. Try searching for some of the on iTunes or Youtube

Played the 7 day trial. Thought it was kinda fun, but wouldn't pay for it.

I second that. Kinda fun, but not really worth paying for. If someone paid for it for me, sure I might play it. But not out of my own pocket.

i played wow for about 6 months, and i had to stop. it like took over my life. i loved the game, but that was the problem. i never wanted to stop. i play runescape now, which i personally think is better. pm me if you wanna know my name

I used to play WoW, and I got addicted. Now I'm with my grandparents and there's just no way for me to play it anymore. Now that I look back, it was a stupid addiction. It's a fun and great game if you know how to utilize all of the options available to you, but you have to put limitations on yourself. I would play it occasionally now, but not for more than an hour a day. In fact, I would probably limit myself to weekends only (while school is going) and only allow like 3 hours max. Otherwise, I go insane with the time I play.

Dude WOW steals lifes. The game isn't that amazing. You should work on not being addicted to it, because, lets face it, A VIDEOGAME ADDICTION IS STUPID! Go out and hang out with your friends before they leave you.

Yeah, I've been playing for like as long as you have and I haven't played in a while because I got kinda tired of it. But I could still play in a guild, be able to commit to a raiding guild, and still be able to go out with my friends every day.

OK, there ARE people that get really into it, but that doesn't mean that EVERYONE that plays the game is playing the game whenever they have the chance and are up all night playing it.

this game is probably an addiction to the same equivalence as cocaine.. so yeah dont play it is my words of advice. i say this because i used to be addicted myself.

Yeah, i love it, too bad the private server i'm on is being buggy at the moment. it probably has something to do with their new realm. Poison, if you think that WoW is complicated, which it isn't, your mind will explode promptly upon seeing EVE Online...

It's extremely addicting and the anticipation to level up and run DM and get more items and gold, then finding a strong guild to ride along with and EXP is just very attractive. It makes you stay. Then once you get to level 80 and you get everything done and you get a mount and accomplish all of the quests it's basically attaining more gold and doing more "daily's" it's boring after you're done leveling up. Though with the new expansion packs and more species of both factions to play as there is much to do. I wouldn't get too sucked into it, the OP's above are right, it will steal you..

i used to, i swapped from that to runescape and back for years.. completely addicted.. BUT then i got a ps3 thats my addiction now :D.. i can controll this addication though :)
