Thinning hair with a razor?

So Im going to a stylist to get my hair thinned because its so thick and its troublesome. Can someone give me details on what it should look like? Like the different between thinned hair and, not thinned hair?

Also, when they thin it is my hair going to have more noticeable layers? Because Im thinking of getting some blone streaks ( Or just one big streak )

Razor cut looks like the pic. There are special hair thinning scissors , but they make your hair shorter. :P

I get my hair thinned every few months, it does get shorter but i dont get layers even though i ask for them -_-

But idk how your blonde streak has to do with this :P, you can get one wheneve r you want

Personally I think hair thinning could be great just don't get one blond streak. I'd go for highlites.
