So yesterday at work I heard a song playing on the speaker. I tried searching for it but didn't remember any of the lyrics. So today at work it was playing again as I was going on break. Well as I was going on break, a ride (im a lifeguard at a water park) decided to start so I couldn't hear the song. I got to the employee area and heard some of the lyrics.
All I could hear is: "Open your eyes" and "I'll follow you."
The song isn't rock, rap/hip hop, pop, reggae, I think it is alternative.
The song has a man and woman in it, when the woman sings, it's has a vocal distortion effect. It kind of blends into the instruments or music or whatever. When the man sings next, it sounds the same but more clear. And i heard them both say " open your eyes" then something else but couldn't understand then said "I'll follow you." when the song starts to ends and the singing stops, there is twinkling sounds. That's all I can remember.
It sounds like a 90s song cause it's not played on the radio, no artists use the style anymore (such a shame tbh), and not in iTunes top tens and other iTunes stuff. But you can definitely tell it's mid or late 90s or before 2006-7 (just a guess)
So any ideas please please post them. I will find out this song idc how long it will take. But if you have any idea what it could be, please post it. I really love this song.
P.s. It kind of sounds like sky high but in a total different form.
