I just got my period for the first time, I think.

How do I tell my mom? :confused:

Well, it's normal for a girl to have a period, so your mum is probably expecting you to start. Now that you have, just go to your mum "mum, I've started my period, can you but me some pads or tampons please?" mums understand this sorta stuff because well.. They've been through it, I really wouldn't be scared of her. Reguarding you think, well, are you bleeding, like a lot? Or is it light (not a lot)?

ask her to buy you pads or tampons or just tell her, she knows all about what youre going through and she will be nice about it and help you out good luck :)

Lovehatetragedy is right, your mum is gonna have to know anyway, just tell her about it and she's gonna understand, I was really scared about telling my mum but she found out! It wasn't that bad though, she just explained some stuff to me and she never really brought it up again.
