I was wondering how to get my reputation up fast

I have such a bad reputation because people think i have a bad taste in music :/

I truly am a nice person, intelligent, and helpful. But people might think wrongly because of my reputation..so how do i get it up?

ALSO, i have only 2 bad reps and somehow -14 points?
I just got a good rep and now its -12...

Are negatives more powerfull?

ooohhh... i usually give negative reps for this kinda stuff... i don't like that. :/ i think that you should give tons of advice that you think are very helpful and useful to all the P101 kids or the teen sexuality. it helps somewhat. :D

Basically yeah as John said using threads is usually a bad idea, because most people will do the opposite. Whenever someone thinks you make a good post, they can positive rep you, thats how it goes up. However asking won't get you anywhere, so just be patient :)

No, it depends on who gives you the rep and what their rep power is. If you look at my rep power, for example, its currently 90, that means that if I give you +rep you gain 90 points. When someone -reps you you lose half of their rep power, so if I -repped you you would lose 45 points.

Be snarky and point out small flaws in people's arguments in RotW. Generally just be entertaining, you'll get more rep doing that than actually being helpful. There's a fine line between sarcastic and dick though, be careful.

Try giving out genuine helpful information, even though people don`t give rep for that often anymore. Rep really isn`t important anyway. It is just numbers and blocks.

Best thing you can do is to ignore them and the rep. It'll build up on it's own and for people to neg rep you because they don't like your music is stupid anyway since someone can think the same thing about theirs.
