How old are you?, if your over 18 they can't do anything to stop you, but if you aren't then I suggest waiting. Its probably better to wait, but in on the other hand just go all out there and ask, have you asked why they don't want you to get it pierced?, that could hold your answer. I hope this info helps you.

Just reason with them, provided that they are reasonable and respecting people. Assert that it is your own body and you should have the right to determine your own image - you are an individual, just like them. How would they feel if you went up to one of them and said, 'I don't like this thing you're wearing, so get rid of it now.'?

Surely they have their own reasons for feeling uncomfortable with seeing an ear piercing on you, but unfortuantely for them, a part of living with other people is being tolerant of differences in opinion and character. It is not always possible to agree, but rather important to compromise. You will not be causing any inconvenience to them with your decision, a bit of visual discomfort at most, but if that is an issue, it really is as simple as diverting one's eyes and disregarding the subject of dislike.

If they won't respect your individuality, then there's not much to be done. Tolerate, don't get angry and don't rebel - show them, as well as yourself, that you are deserving of respect by respecting them first.
