I seriously think that the cast is totally different from the cartoon. I mean they could've gotten a better looking guy for Zuko and a funnier and less-baby-looking guy for Aang. And why are Sokka and Katara white?!

omg, man i completely agree -_- so dissapointed with aang ):
they did a horrible job with most of the casting. and make up, like zuko's scar is soooo small compared to the actual cartoon one. and katara didnt have those hoops in her hair.
I guess what made the movie was the special effects and stuff. They could've done a much better job if they got the castin right

The dude who plays Aang has black belt. That's what one of my friends told me. I don't plan on seeing it, but my seventeen year old friend and his friends saw it and he said it was bad and not like the anime.

I want to see it with my friend just because we've been planning it for so long. I expect it to be horrible. I sort of expected it from the minute I saw the casting, never mind what people have been saying about it.

It was bad...I didn't like the pronunciation of their names. I heard that Jesse Mcartney was originally suppose to play Zuko. I don't know if that would've saved the movie

I agree with your part of Sokka and Katara being white. they should be Asians.

Never saw the movie, and what i've heard of it, i dont want to.

I dont know what the studio was thinking.
They should have all looked ethnic in some way.
Having white people play water benders is so weird. They could have gotten people that looked more like the fire nation actors.
Sokka (SAAHHKAH NOT SOOOKAH) was totally not the character that he was in the cartoon and that annoyed me quite a bit.
Aang (AAANNNG NOT AHHHNG) wasn't entertaining and not the greatest actor.
This just wasn't the greatest movie

There was no Toph, therefor it was destined to fail.

For that, I left the movie. Toph is the shit.

I lost it when I saw the casting and that Toph was not in it. My brother went to see it, but instead of paying for such a shit movie he paid for another movie and went in there. Lulz
Anyway, he was going just for the special effects and he said even those were shit. And boy does he know his movies and Animes, he makes a living as a nerd. Srsly
I will never watch it. I can't.
Also, it was supposed to be a trilogy. Mr. Shamaladickhead really fucked up on this one. Plus side, I have all three seasons on DVD and can watch them. It was by far the best show to ever come out of Nick and it was ruined. D: I haz a sad.
I also heard Sokka was completely serious in the movie? Can someone please say this wasn't true. Sokkas defining trait was his sarcasm. Remove that and he fails.
