Im 132, 17 yrs old, 5 "2, and i have chubbyness, i mean im curvy really curvy, but i feel fat since ive gained 32 pounds since 8 months ago. I used to be 103, and loved it, now i feel the fat and feel fat. I wanna loose weight, i know its bad but i wanna go on a strict diet. Only veggies and fruits treadmill hours in a day and not eat anything sugary at. Maybe i should make myself throw up to loose weight fast, i mean, what harm is it really gonna do? When noones home and im about to take a shower just make myself throw up 2-4 times at first, then see how my weight lowers, if good, continue for about about a month, of not then throw up 4-6 times. I havent done this yet, but if i wanna get the fat off, maybe throwing up will make it come out of me.?.?.?.:confused::confused::confused:

Ever seen the show Intervention? There was a girl on that show that had bulimia. Trust me, you don't want that. Even with rehab she still went back to her ways. The funny thing was she was 5 10 and 97 pounds and she still thought she was fat. If you want to lose weight then watch what you eat and go for a 20 or 30 minute jog every other day. If I had to guess (very very rough estimate since everyone is different and teens are especially difficult) I'd say a good caloric intake for you would be around 2100 calories a day. Eat fruit and vegetables too, sticking to one thing is usually bad for you so try and eat some fish too, good protein and whatnot. Vitamins do wonders too so if you don't mind pills you could get a multivitamin or just eat stuff with vitamins in it.

I'll say it again, don't resort to vomiting, it will end badly. Very badly. If you need and more advice or someone to talk to I'm online quite a bit day and night. Good luck darlin'.

No. You are not fat. Society portrays women in a negative way. They want to make ordinary people look ugly, and that their way is the right way. At your age, that is a very healthy weight. Don`t think for one minute that being a stick figure is healthy, or even beautiful.

No, you really are not fat. Itseems to be a healthy and average weight for you age and height. Do yourself a favour and don't start making yourself throw up...it's not a good habit

You obviously have absolutely no understanding or knowledge when it comes to eating disorders whatsoever. What you've just said is extremely stupid.

What harm can it do? Well, take it from someone with experience. It will take over your life. You will suffer from horrible physical and psychological side effects. Period.

Physical: Drastically increases risk of being unable to have children later on, damages your esophagus, insomnia, anemia, extreme hormone imbalances, lowers immune system, irregular heart beat, dental erosion and many other things.

Mental: You will become obsessed with food and control to the extent where you won't be able to concentrate on anything else, you could/will also suffer from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and self-hatred, distorted body image, drastic mood swings and a lot more.

Once you step into something like this, it's the most difficult thing to get out of. You will never get rid of something as strong as an eating disorder, but you can only control it through the long process of recovery. Don't say I didn't warn you.

It's okay. I'm sorry if I came across a bit harsh, it's just that bulimia is very serious, dangerous and potentially life-threatening.
