Sometimes it's tough to satiate a world that's full of so much hate
But I believe in dynasties, I think that we will make it here
We'll get as far as we can see, right past the mountains
Through the trees but maybe this democracy
Will turn into hypocrisy, we'll all just lie about our needs
And say we want what we don't believe in.

Sometimes you wonder where you are
But then you realize you're not far
From home, no you're not far at all
You're closer than you were before,
You walk in circles, right out the door
And no one notices you're gone.

Sometimes you don't know what you've said,
Sometimes words just enter your head
Slip off your tongue like rain on grass,
It hits you friends' ears with a splash
They wonder how much hash you've had
But you say you're alright, just sad,
And they'll say oh that's just too bad.

Sometimes you wonder where you are
But then you realize you're not far
From home, no you're not far at all
You're closer than you were before,
You walk in circles, right out the door
And no one notices you're gone.

Sometimes it all just makes no sense
Sometimes you just can't comprehend
Why people aren't who they claim,
If I were you and you were me
That'd be fucked up shit, oh can't you see?
The world we live in ain't a world to please.

Sometimes you wonder where you are
But then you realize you're not far
From home, no you're not far at all
You're closer than you were before,
You walk in circles, right out the door
And no one notices you're gone.

Sometimes you wonder where you are
But then you realize you're not far
From home, no you're not far at all
You're closer than you were before,
You walk in circles, right out the door
And no one notices you're gone.
No no one notices you're gone
Maybe it's cause we don't belong
But then maybe again, I'm totally wrong.
