death is the simplistic way
to lose your life just close your eyes
no pain, no blade, no rage
no blood to stain your love

laying on a razor blade
near the roses cliche
begging for a helping hand
left to die a lonely fan

a message in clear light
laying open in ones sight
the black rose by my side
as my life and cliche sigh
