Hey I'm bi, and i like one of my friends. The problem is, I don't know if hes gay, bi, or straight. I sometimes think he's attracted to me from some of the things he does, but I'm not sure. I wanna ask him out, but I'm scared that he'll say no because hes not interested in guys. Btw I haven't came out to everyone yet. Only two close friends. And if he's straight, then he knows my secret. I cant ask him if hes gay or straight either, cause I know he'll ask me if I am before he answers. What should i do?

Maybe you could bring it up casually in a conversation. Or if you're comfortable with it (from the sounds of things though, you arent) just blatantly ask him his sexuality, and if he turns the question around on you without answering you, you can either tell him yours, or play it off as "Oh, rumor has it in school that you're gay".

Something to that affect should break the ice. I hope it makes sense, sorry, Im really tired XD if you want. PM me

Or maybe come out to him? Is he a close enough friend you can trust? If he in turn is gay or bi he might open up to. Just be careful and sure of that he's bi/gay.

you can just mention to him the fact of gay people and that your fine with it... then jus ask him if he's ever thought of guys that way. if he tries to say something like, "why?! are you gay?" or something like that just tell him that you were curious and wanted to know if any of your friends were gay cuz your cool with that. try to act as calm as possible. lol. and not nervous. if hes cool with all this then i think you'll do fine with the rest. hope this is efficent help. sorry if i didn't help at all. :/ best of luck to you and i hope you get your guy! :D

exactly the same problem for me, i think if you try to do something slightly gay like put your hand on his leg then if he moves you away he is straight, if he hesitates then move it he is bi, if he lets you then he is gay

while this may work, it probably isn't the best thing to try. Since you're friends, it seems like you should be able to trust him.

I am having pretty much the same problem. Meh.
