How old were you when you realized that you were bi or gay?
How old were you when you came out about it?

About six when I realized I was "different." I was kissed on the neck (which is my number one hot spot). Something in me just burst alive. I just didn't like girls--I liked guys, too. A helluva lot more!

I was eighteen when I came out about it (this year) to a couple friends. I've only turned nineteen a few months ago, so this is really recent.

Well first off I dont believe anyone knows when they are young. I personally believe that you start get get an idea around 12ish. I started to wonder when I was around 13 and I finally realized that I am bi and I am 17 now. I have told very few people. It is not because I am ashamed, but because I dont see what the big deal is and why everyone needs to know.

ill just tell my little story to go along with the questions. i was about 14 when i started to discover i was gay (freshman year). then at the end of my freshman year i was pretty sure. so the summer between freshman and sophmore year i came out to this guy (who i didnt really know, but i knew he was gay) and now weve been dating for almost 11 months :D and i love him. so then about 2 weeks later i came out to my parents. then when school started i waited about 2-4 weeks then i told my best friend, then more people. then i just let the word spread (that way i didnt need to tell everyone). so i came out when i was about 15 my extended family doesnt know, but i think they have an idea cuz of some things ive posted on fb, but its w.e. :P so yea thats my story.

I knew I wasn't necessarily straight since about the age of 12, and as the hormones went mad I went from gay to straight to bi on a daily basis, and was never sure. I realised I was bi when 14, accepted myself at 15 and came out to my mates last autumn just before I turned 16. Haven't told my parents yet, but I'm waiting for a boyfriend before that happens.

I find it hard to say exactly when I knew, the thing is I was kind of in denial about it really, I wanted to believe I was straight. I was 14 when I allowed myself to accept I was bi. In the last year I've changed my view again, but really dont believe any of the terms straight/bi/gay fit me correctly. I guess I'm sort of 85% gay but still confused at times. I told my dad I was bi when we were on holiday last year, that was pretty close to my 16th birthday.

I knew that I was different when I was young. Me and my friend who was a girl used to "play" with each other and I didn't really feel "turned on" by it but I had a good friend who was a boy and we did weird things (not sexual) and he once laid on top of me and I liked it. (Tell me if this next thing is a form of rape) This one kid who was like seven and I was too little to know what sex was, he set up a tent with blankets and had a line of little kids and he showed his dick if you showed your dick or vagina and I kinda liked it.

I'm 13 now and I'm pretty sure I'm gay but there's always a chance... I hope I really am gay. It's what feels right to me.

In the past year, Freshman year, I noticed that I was interested in guys, too. Now that summer is here, I'm well aware that I'm bi. I haven't come out yet, but that's mainly because there really isn't a point.

I think I was 12 when I realized I was bi. It took me until 15 to accept it, and then I didnt tell anyone til I almost turned 16. I just turned 18 in Feb of 2010

Im going to note this for future, that at my current age, 13, i consider myself bisexual.

Im very grateful that i grew up in an accepting enviorment so if i end up being gay, ill be fine with it. And if i end up being bi, ill be happy. And if i end up being straight, i wont need to put many emotions into orientation.

I realized I was gay at 11 and came out to several friends between 13 and 15. After that, I decided just to be chill about it and let people ask me themselves if they want to know. All of my closest friends know and are supportive.

I think I knew early high school for sure, but didn't plan on ever coming out. My views were pretty messed up at the time and I didn't know there were other gay people around. Most insults were based around being gay or acting gay etc. and I always thought it was a much bigger deal than it ended up being when I came out.

End of junior year I came out as bi because of some stuff I did at a party and this bi girl kept asking me. Nobody believed me the first 20 times I answered (I kept saying yes jokingly so it didn't seem true) and it took a month for most people to finally believe it.

Now I consider myself gay, but I'm open minded. I still haven't told my parents and idk if I ever will.

Around 12-13 i got the feeling. But i still havent come and out and i wont for a while. I would say im gay but then i havent had much experence with girls so ill see. i know i like guys, i dunno about girls entirely yet ill work that out. It'll be interesting. I just hope i don't get a girlfriend and then have to break up cause my hearts not in it.
