Well maybe, you should take the time to think about who you are. You may or may not be bi. You're right you could just be curious. If I were you I wouldn't tell her until i was %100 about what my preferences are.

If she is good friends with you and "You can tell her anything" then when you are sure of what your orientation is then you should tell her. If she is a true friend then she should accept you no matter if you are, Gay, straight, bi or whatever you may be.
