I recentley developed oral allergy syndrome ( allergic to trees and some nuts) but is there anyway that I could die from smoking marijuana like could I go into anapalactic shock or something?

usually those who are allergic to it have like rashes and stuff. I'd advise against smoking if your allergic.

Im presuming you mean anaphylactic shock. Depending on how allergic you are to a substance or if you are exposed to multiple allergens you could experience it though it is not as common as other side effects caused by allergens. If you are allergic to something it is often best to avoid it

The only way you can surely know is by testing it. However, if you do test it, I would say to sniff it and not smoke it just in case you are allergic, it won't be far into your system. Either smell it or put a tiny bit on your tongue or something

Try and see.

JUST KIDDING!

Seriously, it depends. Technically you can never know unless you try but you can always try and have your epipen on hand that way if you do have a reaction, you can treat it immediately.

But the best choice is just to stay away from it.

a substance your possibly allergic to flooding your lungs wouldnt be the smartest move now would it
Id just say dont do it
its really not worth the risk of what could happen to your body

Being allergic to some vegetation does not mean you're going to be allergic to all vegetation. For example, my cousin has a mild allergy to corn yet she can eat peas, bread, lettuce, etc... .

If you do want to know before trying it, conduct an allergy test by putting it on your skin or doing a small prick then putting it. If it swells up a little, then it indicates an allergy but not one that will cause anaphylaxis. If it swells up a lot quite fast, then it means it will cause anaphylaxis (put proper cream on to reduce the swelling).

Oral allergy syndrome has absolutely nothing to do with marijuana. For those who don't know (apparently everyone who has so far posted in this thread), oral allergy syndrome is an allergic reaction caused by the structural similarities of allergen proteins in various types of pollen, and the proteins in some uncooked fruits and nuts. In my case, this means I have a mild allergy to uncooked apples (tingly throat etc) and to a much lesser (almost undetectable) extent, strawberries.

If my explanation has not yet made it clear: oral allergy syndrome is not something to worry about with marijuana. Marijuana does not contain the same allergen proteins, and you don't eat it. Even if you did eat it and it did contain the allergen proteins, oral allergy syndrome (as you may have found out by now) is not the kind of allergy that leads to anaphylactic shock or anything that serious.

Overall, OAS is nothing to worry about with regard to marijuana consumption.

Agree.
