hey im gonna be going into high school next year and i hear we might have to legit change our clothes in PE with kids our age.

is it wrong to really be looking forward to that? like getting excited thinking about it? :D

Well actually its more normal for guys to feel nervous and embarassed about the idea of changing in front of their friends, but at the same time a lot of guys are curious to see how their friends compare.

Its not wrong for you to feel how you do but it would be wrong if you got into a pattern of staring too much at the other guys and would be very awkward for you if other people noticed that you were looking. So what I'm saying is that the thoughts are OK but try not to let them affect your behaviour.

Here's what I posted in the other locker room thread.

I've always been one to put myself in other people's shoes. That said, it's easier to change in a locking room knowing that the larger majority of the people you're changing with are in your same boat and are most likely just as shy in the locker room.

The only advice I can offer to anyone dealing with this kind of thing is not to focus too hard on everyone else. Shower, change into your clothes and bounce. If anything attempts to give you shit(which is very unlikely), ask them why they were looking at you and why it interests them so much. That'll be sure to put them on the spot.

I think it's a little weird to be looking forward to it. I was totally nervous the 1st time I had to change for swim team. But after a couple times it's no big deal. One thing to be careful about if you are realy excited about the idea of seing other guys naked you might end up gettin a boner in front of them That would not be good.

I'm going into high school too. I'm also excited by the prospect of the showers and locker rooms, and I'm straight. We're just curious, and that's normal at this age. :D

To contradict what JeyLove said, you can't say "Why are you looking then?" or something to that affect when you hit High School. Middle school it's okay, but high not so much. (Where I live)

It all depends on the area you live in. The reason one can't say that in MY area, is because in Middle school there are like NO gay guys. But in High School, there are more, so if you say "Why were you looking?" it wouldn't help if they were gay. But I like the idea. Coming up with something witty is good!

All-in-all, no one will ever make fun of someone unless there is a HUGE douche that just so happens to be in your class. Most people will just change and leave.

BUT, about you looking forward to it. Nothing wrong at all. Natural curiosity. Just if you glance at other guys' penises, make sure not to look to long. Just glances. ;)

it's not a big deal once it becomes daily routine.
just dont look a long time at other guys dicks, thats weird.
honestly lots of people or curious how theyre freinds measure up to themselves, but dont be the one to innitiate that.
if your straight then no big deal, but if your gay...dont look too much or you could get a boner.
but all in all, you should be fine.

No it's perfectly normal dude! I look at other guys in the locker room all the time. I think we are pretty similar actually: I'm not emotionally attracted to guys just sexually attracted.
