I saw the "What languages do you speak" thread in this forum, and was inspired to ask:
In College/University, how many people are going to keep doing or take on a foreign language?
I myself am seriously looking at doing German in college, I'd get to spend a year in Cologne or Göttingen or Konstanz and teach English in their schools :D Along with studying maths that is.

Honestly, I haven't thought about this aspect at all, hmmm.
I don't know if I'll continue to take French in college. I plan on studying abroad, but France isn't one of the countries I want to study in, so I don't know if I should continue with my studies.

In high-school I did AP French, which counted as first-year French so I couldn't do that one nor another course for the same reason. If anything, I'd take a course in Latin but have not done so yet.

I am studying Mandarin at Spanish. I also want to learn how to speak in French and Latin. Soon I will study at Spain. Better luck at me. :)

Good question...I think that I will study abroad in France for sophomore year so I will probably take French freshman year so I can go.
I will probably also take Spanish so I can become fluent in that
But it really depends on how much time and space I have

I'm double majoring in Spanish and Communications. For my Spanish degree, I need 12 credits of another language. I'm actually thinking Russian since I met a prof of Russian & Spanish who was very inspiring.
