There should be a spelling check you can turn on or off. Like Microsoft Word. Just a simple spelling check, not like a grammar check or anything.
Maybe when you spell a word wrong, it will highlight the word as your typing it.
Well, my problem is solved. I didn't know I could download a spelling check, thanks to some peoples replies, I figured it out and now I have downloaded a spelling check for Internet Explorer and it works perfectly :D :D :) :D

I could see all P101 posts being underlined red, green and blue. :P
It might be an idea. ^_- Could use, say word and then copy paste it.

I think Firefox, Opera, and Safari have spell check too. Don't know about IE.

IE has a small little add-on to add support for spell check.

There we go then.
Each internet browser has an auto-spell checker.
Problem solved.
Wonder.

The one in chrome sucks though. I've made many spelling errors and it didn't catch them. It also counts email addresses as wrong. If a good one could be built into the website easily, then it would be benificial. (I don't think I spelt that right but have no way of knowing.)

Why bother with a spell check?
I'm on Chrome, bt 1 cn stll typ lik dis al i wunt nd chom wunt fx it.
Spell check only shows you your mistake, and if people cared for their mistakes, more often than not they'd fix it from the get go.

Thats not something that vB would really implement because it would really slow you down in the end since you would have to "send" it before it checks I believe.
Seems like most web browsers have them. I used both Firefox and Chrome and they both underline in red when something is spelled wrong.
Furthermore, when I use chrome and it tells me I misspelled something, if I right click, it gives me suggestions that are correct.
In general, I think it just explains how much our school system sucks :P
Not much emphasis on spelling anymore

I use Firefox on my posts. It will show me my mistakes but only when it's in the typing box so that I don't see all red when I'm reading a post with bad grammar or spelling (cough P101) :P

Isn't that the point of it? Wouldn't you be pissed if you type a huge long post, and it only picked a few out of the piles of spelling mistakes? :P

Me Calum or another Calum?
spell check wont do anything, if people speak in text talk then it being all underlined in red isnt going to make them go back and change everything so its correctly written

I could go and quote just about every post saying they are all the same and everyone should stop reapting :P
Also, some people might no know how to spell a word, and are too lazy to look it up. Why do you think spell check was made? :P shame on them for not looking it up also in the first place.
