As the eyes of the beast
Look into the darkness
Obsessed with the talons
Linked to the shadows

Along came the daemon
Who once showed all evil
Now comes humanity
Engrossed in our sins

Preach to the choir Our evil transpires
The beast doth see us for our licentiousness and sin
Our grandeur in our ventures rebuffed
By the beast in our minds and our emotionless love

Look not to the heart nor the mind
Look to the beast of your soul
Hear the claws scraping with ire
Hear your decisions made quaintly

In the beginning was evil
Then along came man
