Well, there's this on guy that I like, but he lives kinda far-ish away (though, in the same state).
I was just wondering if online relationships actually work? We both like each other a lot, but, we just live far away, and probably shouldn't rush things...
What do you think?

Usually they don't work, unless you can see him every now and then.

Through experience, no. A relationship needs intimacy (not necessarily sex). You'll never get to hold his hand as you walk down the beach, hell never hug you to protect you from the rain, he'll never kiss you when your depressed. Long distance relationships never work, but then again, if the passion's there and its true love, nothing in this world can stop you two.
But all the best to ya :hug3:

I'm in one right now. They CAN work, but its rare. You have to know that the relationship isn't going to stay long distance forever though. Sooner or later, one of you is going to move so you can be together more often.

Oh... my.
Generally, I seriously recommend against online relationships. Cue the yelling and complaining here, but I think that in the vast majority of cases they don't work long term and are a waste of time. But people are teenagers, what relationship isn't?
Specifically, you've been on the site what, 3 days now? Yeah, I'd say you should take it juuuuuust a little slower, to say the least.

yes they can work but not very often
but sometimes you don't know who the other person is really, and sharing information can be dangerous
but anyways it might work for you best of luck to you :)

They're risky, and generally full of doubt. Which is why more often than not they don't work.
Because you can't physically see them, you wonder who they really are, what they're really up to.
And you can't really help it.
Like everyones said, they do work. But it is rare.
If you can see him once in a while, it might work.
But online relationships tend to be complex.

If you think it's worth a try you should go for it. Yeah, there's the chance it won't work out but if you really want to try then you should.
