A small stain on a shirt a five year old sees
She tells her dad, but he isn’t happy
She gets pushed to the ground,
And beaten badly.
She cries to her mom whose right upstairs
And gets beaten more for getting others involved.
Mother comes down and what does she see
A man beating his child on the floor.
She tells him to stop, but he keeps on beating
She begins to weep, and she pulls me away from him.
Carries me upstairs and tells him to go away,
But he won’t go away.
With that comment he gets more angry and he chases her up the stairs.
The child who is being carried is scared.
She sees a monster running up the stairs.
She knows if he catches her again she’ll get hurt.
The mother locks the door in the child’s room so he can’t get in.
He bangs and screams on the door,
and eventually gets in.
only for more fighting to break lose,
he still has the rage in his eye, the wanting to hurt me..
but mother tries to calm him down.
He has no patience for children, he shouldn’t have had them.
