So ever since Apple put out iTunes 9, there have been loads of syncing problems. 9.1 hit and it started affecting the syncing of my old Nano (a 3rd gen), which is one of the reasons I got a new 5th gen Nano. So I recently upgraded to iTunes 9.2 and every time I connect my 5th gen Nano in, the program will work for all of 10 or 15 seconds and then stop and freeze (causing me to force quit the program). I've Googled at least for the past hour and can find NOTHING of use. Does anyone else know what this problem is? I REALLY don't want to uninstall iTunes and then put an older version on, something I had to do in the past with my 3rd gen Nano.

Would be wonderful if anyone can find something USEFUL from Apple Support, because I sure can't.

I find it funny how you seem to be the one with all the itune problems that post them on VT :P

Plus your using Vista :P

Wow what a number of problems. Best bet is to uninstall it, and reinstall.

I haven't had any problems syncing with iTunes 9 at all. The only thing it's screwed up is for Wish You Were Here (album), it puts Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Part One at the very end of the album. -.- it bugs me constantly.

Just found out via iPod support forums and pages that iTunes 9 will damage the software for Nanos, third gen on. So the only alternative is to repair via iTunes version 8. Looks like I have my answer then.
