It would be great if you could look into enabling Tapatalk for the iPhone with this forum specifically. I know GovTeen has it up and working.

Though you can just use the browser, it works just like desktop version does, so i don't think there is a need for an app. I use my ipod most of the time i'm on vt and it works perfectly fine

Seems pretty easy to do. I'll do it later today or tomorrow.

I will :)
UPDATE: You have to use a TapaTalk app? It's $2.99.

Seriously. Why would I pay $3 for an app that is doing everything I can do on Safari for free? And the free version doesn't show pictures, allow posts, sign ins, etc...
The idea is good. The app is crap.

I second that, plus... no java or flash  But I wonder if an app would fix them stupid drop down boxes
Wonder.

I got it. It works but I don't really like it. It sucks actually. I think I'll stick to safari. Tapatalk sucks.
But Safari decided to post this while I was halfway through a sentence though.

What if VT had its own app?
A Virtual Teen app? I don't think there's much point, however. If you have an iphone/ipod touch then Safari works fine..

Yep, ant can go out, buy the tools he needs from apple, learn how to make apps, make one that works with VT 100% and let anyone on the appstore download it :D I dont think he wants an app that much.

is the number of VT users even anywhere near high enough to consider making a VT app... i mean theres a lot of people private stuff on here... surely that's just asking for trouble.

I wouldnt say there is, but whom do use their idevices to look on the forum it would be nice to have an app that worked with the forum. Not just safari or the mobile theme, cause thats just bad!
What about ant having a look and see if he can find a theme which might work better with idevices?

I don't use an Iphone or Ipod touch or anything of the sort but I still don't see why anything new would need to be created if whatever is currently being used works fine.
If it aint broke, don't fix it?

I had no idea so much work goes into making apps!! :O
Anyway... think about it people - How many of us would actually use it?
I know I'd probably keep using safari. Theres not much you can't do on there that you can on a regular computer.

Really...waste of time. Making an app for VT would be a terrible idea too. Too many people would find out about VT. If an app is EVER made for VT, I'm leaving. nuff said. :P
Wonder.

Also the app most likely wouldn't be accepted for being teenagers forum.

Just use the internet on your iPhone and save VT as a favourite that wil be pretty much as quick as getting the app to load up. But i dont think that VT will ever make an iPhone app.

The iPhone and now IPAD is the most perspective, the next generation mobile platform in the market today. The process of designing an iPhone / IPAD application is much like that creates a Mac with OS X application.running on other smartphones like the HTC Desire, fear not for the BBC has plans to release an Android version of the application later this year.
