im 18 and I've done a calculator test which says im at 4.5 which seems accurate for the most part considering im pretty much an adult. Except for the really late things such as growing facial hair, hands growing and filling out etc. The only thing that has not really followed me in the tanner stages is my flaccid penis, i started puberty about 13, but my flaccid penis hasnt really grown since about 14-15.

here is the description for stage 3:

Scrotum takes on a hanging appearance when warm. One testical, usually the left, will hang lower than the other. Testes are between 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches (3.6 to 4.1 cm) measured in along the long axis or 6 to 12 ml in volume.
Penis continues to grow, but mostly in length. Glans at the end of the penis darkens in color.

and stage 4:

Scrotum distinctly hangs and takes on a darker color. Testes are between 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inches (4.1 to 4.5 cm) long measured along the long axis or 12 to 20 ml in volume. Penis continues to grow, but mostly in width. Glans at the end of the penis widens and develops a distinct corona.

I'm still growing, facial hair still changing, muscles changing etc. Now in my case bascially the easiest way to show it is:

Black bolded=yet to happen
Blue Bolded=happened

does that mean im still developing? in this case it isnt just size its the whole development of my penis and testicles im talking about. like for example when i get erect my glans edge is not big enough to tuck my foreskin under and stay there, the tiniest movement will move it back over the head so how am i supposed to have sex with the foreskin back when my glans/penis head isnt developed enough to tuck my foreskin?

thanks for answering

and yes i asked this question on the other forum

also I started puberty around mid to late 13. Average age is around 11, so will it take longer for me by about 2 years or so?

No, the puberty calculators in general are inaccurate. As they can't determine every aspect of a person by a simple quiz, they're Ok for a basic guide though.

The Tanner stages are fairly accurate, I'm quite sure that they're used by doctors and hospitals.

if the tanner stages are accurate to an extent I'd still say I'm around stage 4 since im still growing and even my scrotum, penis head and such havent developed to adult like never mind my penis girth and such. It's annoying as hell tbh, because I can see off my penis and testicles they're very much like a stage 3 or early teen in apperance and for some reason havent developed past that. (My brother and dad are a lot bigger down there but only really because I haven't had this stage 4 happen down there, if it did I'd be on par pretty much)

yes the tanner system is accurate my doctor uses the system -
right now im 2.2
another way which my doctor had me do was to have an x ray of
my wrist. the x ray will tell a person age rate - im 14 but my x ray and test say im like 12 --- also had my knee x ray for the same reason.

You could still be growing, everyone is different and the Tanner stages are merely a Guideline to growth, so it could be possible!

IDK. The tanner quiz says I'm at a 4.2/5, but I have no acne, chest or facial hair, yet. And sometimes I have more than one answer that applies, but I can choose only one.

Bottom line: it's your body, one test won't predict how you'll grow. :)

They are vague and of generalizations. Sort of like an impression of where you could be.

Everybody is different. For the most part, tanner stages are VERY accurate. Now just because it says one thing on there doesn't mean it is going to happen to you, just what happens to most guys. If your facial hair is still changing, you are still developing. Some guys can continue puberty until 20 or 21, just give it time, and be patient. :P

I hope I helped. :D

I think it's accurate for the most part.

Don't worry man, I'm in the same boat. Almost 19 and no facial hair, ever. Two, yes count 'em, two, hairs on my chest (one on each nipple). And I still have acne and voice pitch issues too.

I started at 14, just FYI.
