NHL teams have sprouted into the U.S. in the last few decades, with many teams such as Quebec and Winnipeg moving to places like Phoenix. Now, there are only 6 NHL teams in Canada, while the other 24 are in America.
So here's the questions:
1) Do you think American hockey has gotten more popular since the NHL has expanded?
2) Should Canada get to see more teams?
3) Why do you think failing teams no longer seem to be relocated?
I, even as an American, think that some of these teams need to be moved back to Canada, or at least farther north.
Here's my list of what I believe would be good relocations:
Nashville to Seattle
Florida to Quebec City
Tampa to Regina
Dallas to Hartford
Phoenix to Winnipeg
Carolina to Portland, Maine.
