Food, mother natures way of keep animals alive and working.
Humans,we're ,by nature, are omnivores.Unless you become a vegan which isn't bad either. But what makes me mad and gets me pissed of is the way they disrespect, treat, and mess up our food. They make animals fatter with hormones, they grow fruit and vegetables bigger and inorganic, they treat the animals(most of them) like shit. The food they feed kids in public school(i go to private school and it's all the same :( ) the cheapest parts of the meat, they don't offer variety, and the government doesn't do anything about it!They allow Tyson, McDonald's, dole to produce this shit and hurt the poor animals.I would like to shop and Whole Foods but the prices are like doubled!I'm think about becoming a vegan seeing all this. It's just sad how they treat our food.Plus they're also starting to make everything out of corn syrup, which isn't all bad but it's the way they treat the corn. They put on these pesticides on it,and corn syrup doesn't fill us up, now they're making commercials about how "good" it is.If you don't believe me watch the movie Food INC. It's about how food companies are taking over and control. It shows all this scary stuff how the food companies are getting their friends in congress so they can't go down.

Tell me what you think how they treat the animals and the food we eat.And if you think food companies are out of control.

You're right it is sad. Though people are looking for mass production and the max profit possible. Even if that means making bullshit and fattening food for us to eat. I am pretty disgusted when I go out to eat. Though I am a very picky eater myself.

it's not that they're putting pesticides on the corn, corn syrup by its self is like eating plastic, or atleast high frucetose

Yes, our foods do sometimes to me feel "Contaminated" I have eaten at a Kosher restaurant and I must say the meat was quite good quality. Although I much rather sift through the meat section or shop "selectively" if you will. With my foods. Sometimes around where I live there are some mom and pop like deli's and small grocery stores that I quite like and enjoy the fresh foods they sell. I guess when you go to main franchise, Fortune 500, mass production stores that sell on demand and processed bullshit foods that are predominately unnatural and unhealthy foods. Fast food is a prime example. It's all marketing, advertising and mass production.

In a free-market world like ours, economy > environment. It's not just in food processing we see that kind of thinking, it's in pretty much every industry that sells products.

It's a good thing organic food is becoming more popular and cheaper. However, we have to remind ourselves that the fast food empires will never die — they're recession-proof!

It's disgusting, it's sad, and it's reality. We just have to deal with it. And seeing as how the food companies (and many other companies) have gotten themselves involved in the government's affairs (they practicalkly control the politicians seeing as how they're the ones who put them in their current positions) there's little we can do about it.
