Okay so theres this guy that I really need some advice on...I really like him but i have no idea if he likes me or not. My friends think he does, but I'm not sure.

We actually have a lot in common, and he can make me laugh. He only answers my texts about half of the time. When he does, we can talk forever but when he doesnt, it just makes he feel like he really isnt interested. If i invite him somewhere, he always shows, but he doens't usually stay very long. He also acts bored, but i can almost tell that he's faking it. He'll give off little smiles that make you think he's really enjoying himself.

Anyways, I would definately count us as friends, but i just want to let you know if he could be more than that. just let me know your opinion on the situation! thanks :)

Is he a quite guy ? Like, is he shy ? Because that could be the reason he doesn't stay with you for long. Because when i go to see my girlfriend and she's around her friends ( Im assuming you're with other people ? ), i don't talk, and i probably seem very bored, but im just shy. So maybe that's the case with him? And about the text thing... I'm gonna be honest, i'm like that too sometimes. I only ever answer texts from my girlfriend every time, but sometimes i just ignore texts.

Yeah, he's probably shy. Keep hanging out with him and it may become more apparent. Just keep being around him and if you like him try asking him out. Theres nothing wrong with that.

He might just be shy and awkward. The fact that he texts you for long periods and has a lot in common with you suggests that he does want to be with you but it is maybe a little awkward. Ask your friend why she thinks he likes you cos if she has heard that from someone else then he probably does

As it was mentioned before, he just sounds shy. I'm shy myself when I'm with my friend and she's with her friends. It sounds like he does like you though, because he's putting forth the effort to actually show up when you invite him out, and he doesn't make an excuse to not show. You also said you two can talk for long periods of time, and you have a lot in common. Just ask him out and see what happens.

i agree that he might be shy and im also gonna be honest a lot of guys dont txt back half the time because mayne we are busy, or in a bad mood, or just dont want to talk to anybody at the moment. i didnt txt my girfriend back half the time and she did it to me sometimes too its normal for guys not to txt back

Yeah, It shouldn't always be left up to the guy.
If you want to know if he likes you or not, you can ask him out then you can know for sure!
If he doesn't like you, then it looks like you have a good friendship to fall back on.
