I don't know to be honest. I just keep mine as MP3s

It doesn't really matter in the long run. However, mp3 typically shortens data that would be extended in other file types like Flac, Shn, WMA, AAC, etc.. You won't really notice a difference, but apparently some people are anal enough to find it. Keeping them as mp3s is better anyway because of the less space they take up.

There's no difference really. AAC and MP3 are pretty much the same thing. Nothing much to worry over.

Yes MP3 and ACC are almost the same but i recommend more the MP3 is more know and accepted by many software, but if you want a lot of quality use WAV

Personally I use AAC, however I am sure that (as mentioned above) they are basically the same thing.

Really it depends if you're an audiophile or not, it also depends on your sound system, media player, and/or sound card if you notice differences in audio quality.

For the vast majority of people though, mp3 will do just fine.

But for an audiophile such as myself, WMA lossless is where it's at.

AAC is more compressed than MP3. I mentioned this before( I think). If a 5 MB 192 kbps file is in mp3, it will be rendered to 1.5 MB in 128 Kbps in AAC.

This sound format is best for cellphones and not really recommended for anything else.
