ok so first time posting xD ( warning this could be noobish )
I was at home yesterday, and because i felt tired i went to bed, when i got up a few hours after my mum started nagging me, which i could have done without, frankly.
Anyway, i did what she asked and ended up slamming my bedroom door in anger, she then started having a go at me and was threatening me.
I nearly punched her and after she went downstairs i found myself laughing.
I just dont know what to do, I think i need to calm down, because one day i could end up hitting her.

Get through puberty like the rest of us. Repsect your parents too, they gave you all you have.

Actually, I kind of have to agree with the above poster, even if his tone is a tad bit rude. Given your age and gender, I'd say the cause of this is hormones. I was the exact same way four years ago, I actually kinda chuckled while reading it because it reminded me of myself so much.
If you start to feel like you're going to explode, count backwards from ten slowly before doing anything. It's always better to remove yourself from the situation than do something you'll regret (ie punch your mother). Hope this helps :) you'll get through it, just like I did.

Parents can be a real drag, but even though there will be tough times. Going through puberty can be a very frustrating times and all of the mixed emotions and feelings. I have felt myself about hitting my mother, but have never followed through and neither should you. She is only trying to do the best that she can.
When you start to feel yourself ready to go off on her there is a technique I always use and it always defuses the problem, but it also depends on the tone that you use. This technique especially works with the nagging. When she starts to nag you can "Okay" her away, What i mean by that is when she starts talking take a deep breath and say in a calm tone okay, then as she continues go okay, okay and she will think you're listening and you aren't debating or getting snippy.
Or as the person above said just count backwards from ten and take deep breaths close your eyes and think of something funny. Laugh off the nagging and continue out through your day. I hope this works, good luck. If you ever need someone to talk to i'm always here VM me anytime.

Well I wasn't necessarily saying you should tell her that your hormones make you angry, I was more explaining that for you. Parents generally don't like excuses, so I'd just remain silent and let her rant if she wants to.
