I want to share a method I always do when I feel the urge to cut.
When I'm alone and trying to sleep and I get those horrible thoughts and I just want to go downstairs and grab a razor, I put my finger to my throat and feel my pulse. That usually helps me. Then I think, "I'm alive, I'm breathing and that's what important."
I'm not a psychologist so I don't know if it's a good method but it works for me.
