I wrote this poem a while ago, but I did work pretty hard on it (it was for school). I'd like to know what you all think. :)
She's the always been the queen
What she wants, when she wants it
It's always within reach
But she took it all for granted.
The doors have closed
On the days of old
In terror, she doesn't know where to go
She's a forgotten soul.
Life collapsed,
A myriad of dreams gone
Looking back,
She wished she could have just moved on.
The sun's rays shone down
She knew it was time
To go back home
And begin her new climb.
