I am just looking for the advice I need.
As some persons may know, I play tennis too much :D. There is this kid that has moved to my age group 12-14. I do not know why but I just want to talk to him and become friends. We play matches most days and I always try to put my name beside his name on the bord but it no work.
I need to know how to approach him. He is German and luckily I speak German so that is not a problem. Can you help me?

Just try to find a topic to talk about that both of you are interested in. Ask him if he watches the World Cup or Wimbledon or whatever, doesn't have to be sports. If you find out what you both are interested in it should get easier to talk to him and you may become friends quicker than you think.

Well, I'd just sit next to him, or stand whichever you choose, and just say "hey" get to know him on common ground - which for you would be tennis, even ask him if he wouldn't mind playing with you as you'd like to show what you can do but also to find out more about him and just have a general talk. Bring up
the fact you enjoy tennis and that you'd like to talk to him about it and from there it'll build into a much larger conversation between you both.

Ask him where he's from, where he goes to school, anything really, where he got his racquet from. Just any neutral topic that gets you talking.

He seems really arrogant though. Like I have tried to say hello and he kinda justs nods his head.

Maybe he's arrogant or maybe he's very shy. Either way if he doesnt seem to want to make friends there's not a lot you can do about it. Dont try to force it.

Well, I had the tennis practise this morning and afterwards, the German kid, Gregor, stayed back for an hour to practise afterwards.
I grabbed a opportunity and stayed back to you. I seen he had purchased new tennis balls so I took that subject to begin conversing with him. It sounded bad but I said "You have nice balls there - can I play with them?:P:P" He bursted out to laugh  so it was a good conversation beginining even if it did sound bad.
So I walked him home and I learned so much. He only move here in May so he has no friends and is a bit shy because he no very little Danish. So he asked me to be his first friend:D:D:wub::D:D!!
