iOS 4

iOS 4 was released yesterday! =D New features include multitasking, customizable wallpaper, and folders. My personal favorite feature, however, is the screen orientation lock. I can now lay in bed on my side and not have my iPhone switching back and fourth from horizontal to vertical. Thank GOD. If you got it, then what is your favorite feature?

This. On my iPod Touch 2g, I don't have multitasking, wallpapers, or orientation lock. I'm going to be buying a new one in November after they release a new one, because mine is starting to annoy me.

Really though, I'm looking forward to the folders, multitasking, and screen lock a lot. I have about four screens full of stuff and it would be nice to only have one or two. Not to mention the screen rotation while on bed thing, that's really annoying. No point in getting it unless you have the 3gs or the new touch though, doesn't have many extra features for those people.

ok in that case i have an ipod 2g and once i found out i wasn't going to get the main features i decided to jailbreak anyone who still hasn't upgraded with a 2g i recomend you do the same btw does anyone kno when the 4.0 jb is coming out

putting all your apps and crap into like 3 folders makes your desktop look barren

I am thinking about it. I probably will buy a new one in November anyway (for my birthday) because the one I have is slowly getting.... slower.

I have jailbroken iTouch 2G, and it runs normally even when few apps are on. It's just Apple's trick to make people buy 3G. Update and jailbreak and will run good.

If you have an iPhone 3G or iPod Touch 2G you won't get multitasking, orientation lock, or the ability to change the home screen background. That is unless you jailbreak it.

Holy shitballs it's fucking amazing on the iPhone 4. It's ridiculous how nice multitasking is and how well the new processor and battery keep up with power demands. Don't even get me started on the display.

All in all I think Apple out did themselves. Again.
