View Full Version : Women using their period as an excuse?

I mean, I know they go through a lot of pain and all, i mean, cramps, bleeding, ouch....

But anyway, do you all, guys and girls alike, find a girl being on her period an excuse for her to be a straight up bitch?

For example, I was hanging out with a couple of my friends when a female friend of mine joins the group. She dropped her back pack then literally started cussing it out.

I said to her, "Be nice, it holds your books", kinda joking around, but then she walks up to me, hits me in the face and yelled at me about how shes on her period and I shouldn't talk to her "in that tone of voice".

I don't know about you guys, but I understand a girl being a little grouchy, but I found her to be extremely obnoxious.

What are your opinions on the subject?

I think that's crossing the line WAY to much. We ARE emotional, but no one needs that much space. Plus, I think she's probably just taking advantage about being able to be a little moody. I for one wouldn't let anyone know, except my best friend, but definantly NOT a guy, friend or not, that I'm on my period. It's not something you go blurting to the world.

LOL
I'd have to say that's an excuse.

You're friend probably was on her period, but I do that stuff all the time. Drop things then throw tantrums at every living thing... I don't think I'm having a period.

By the way... when I say "all the time" I don't mean... "All the time."

Some women do use it as an excuse.

But most dont.

And then there's some women that are just plain old bitches.

Periods can be debilitating, emotionally and physically. Give us some credit, we deal with them monthly from as young as 8 until we hit menopause, whenever that happens. How would you like it if you had to deal with it?

Be fair to Daniel, he makes it clear he doesnt envy you for having to deal with it every month, but his question is if that makes it ok for the girl to hit him in the face. I would say she has gone to far there, maybe she's a bitch to start with. But then again maybe she'd had a bad day in other ways and it just all got too much for her. Whatever, its not right to start hitting people for no good reason and she should apologise.

I try not to do that, sometimes I act bitchy cause its painful but I'm nowhere near as bad as that girl was. Its no excuse for her to act that rude and I'm sure most girls would agree with me. Not all of us are like that but you have to expect that we aren't going to be in the nicest of moods.

Yes, some do...and it just annoys the hell outta me....but most don't, and it could just be hormones making them moody etc.

Yea some of my friends are like that. They just want a reason to let out their inner bitch.

We have a reason to be downright bitchy. Some girls go through alot of pain when they get their period, emotionally and physically.

I get like that all the time when I'm on mine, cussing at and bitching about small things.

The point is that it's really not a reason to be downright bitchy. The pain is your problem, not the people around you's problem; being bitchy doesn't make it go away, and there is no justification.

man some of my friends are downright terrible... maybe cuz i can be an asshole at times but when they grab my arm during a cramp its like holding a womens hand while giving birth but i accept and feel bad for girls... i dont know maybe she was using it as an excuse to get those feelings out :(
