Yeah. I name my technology. Allow me to introduce...
Trisha: My TI-84 Plus SI. She's got an attitude and might not let you reopen certain programs after you lose.
Jeffery: My lazy external hard drive. He's resistant to formatting and works half the time.
Madi: My pretty, smart hard drive. I'm running Linux from her.
Charlie: My Kindle. He's just a Kindle.
Quentin: My internal HD partition #1. He's stuck with Windows.
Carissa: My other partition. She may or may not be a Hackintosh, but keep in mind Apple always watches.
And, Zelda, my HTC Incredible. She rocks.

My question: Do YOU name your tech? Do you do more? I tried writing love stories and rivalries amongst my stuff, but it didn't quite catch on.

when i get my HTC Hero (my next phone) im naming him Shepard because it's a hero (badum-psshh)

2D, my favorite drawing pencil
Smashy, the Lego AT-ST that sits apon my dresser

I call him smashy because he is one of those collecter's edition sets. And he was smashed twice by my little brother's friend, who i find very annoying. They were trying to stuff some of my beloved collector's edition Star Wars Action figures into the cockpit. They did not fit and he fell apart twice. i had to reassamble him too, a real pain in the ass.

So yes i do name my stuff sometimes.

Frank - the Walkman X
charles - the PS3 (he's getting on in years, but still works a crowd - the 50's name works :))

I love the 50s and the 80s. i might consider some of those era's popular names for my new stuff (like Betty, and Marty for the 50s)
