not sure if this is the right place, because i dont have an eating dissorder, yet. but anyway.
i hate it, everything about it makes me sick.
the thought of someone seeing my body scares me half to death.
im nowhere near overweight.
but i've put weight on, and i know about it, i can tell.
i can see it.
i'm still technically underweight,
i mean i only put like 2 pounds on.
but it feels like i'm so much bigger.
couldnt tell you one bit of my body i actually like.
because i hate it all.
i'm a mess.
a complete and utter mess.

Just do what you have to do, exercise, eat healthy, try that for 6 months and I promise you'll feel better with yourself ;).
You shouldn't care about others opinion too.

Nat, I hope this isnt too creepy, but your from your avatar and profile pic you look beautiful. I think many of us dont feel comfortable with ourselves and cant see the beauty that is obvious to other people.

Agreed. Nat, you the opposite of what you think you are <3
Everyone can agree on that.

Yes I also agree, just try to believe us.
If you are that unhappy then just try to excercise more, don't blame it on over eating because if you are underweight that could cause problems. Just do what you feel is right. ;)

2 pounds are not a big difference, but you were used to less, so now you feel like you're bigger. But take my word, and other people who posted in this thread's word too, you are beautiful and don't have to feel that way.
If you are still technically underweight, you can't be that much bigger, think of that. Okay?
Good luck :)

yeah, and even with being underweight, your profile picture is really pretty :D I would go with what was suggested earlier and excersize and eat healthy.
Also btw, the body fluctuates around 2 pounds every day, so you might not have gained anything, I'm just assuming you have an eating disorder and part of that is feeling that you might have gained weight when you really havent

I know how you feel.. I find it hard to accept compliments from people about my appearance after being criticized about it for soooo many years. Just try and convince yourself that what we're all saying is true. Hope I don't sound creepy, but I have to agree with everyone in that you're absolutely BEAUTIFUL! :) However, I don't think you should try and diet or exercise more as others have suggested. You're already thin enough..heck you're underweight even. The reason those 2 lbs feel so noticeable is because that's pretty much all your body's got in terms of fat restores. Not to mention the fact that you're extra tuned into any little change in your body.
The real solution here is to find a way to accept yourself for how you are..regardless of how much you weigh or how you look. It's not an easy solution, and you might need some help getting there. But lemme tell you, when you get there, it feels GREAT! You'll look back and wonder why you didn't do it all before. I really hope this helps. Feel free to drop me a VM if you're still struggling. I'm all ears!

A small suggestion if possible; is to hang with some people who speak positively towards you; who hand out small and kind complements towards you. This may be hard but start complementing others; they will soon return those complements not in return for your complements but because they have recognized a beauty about you. In time you will soon be able to decipher who truly means what they say; possibly in the way they speak, look, or body language. This will soon build up your self-esteem and allow your mind to slowly love your body.

Bare in mind two things. 'Gaining' 2lbs won't always be a real gain of two pounds. You can gain water weight very easily depending on how de/hydrated you are at a certain time of the day. You're also going to be heavier at the end of the day, since you've hydrated and eaten during the day/evening. Also, it's a shame, but so many people feel the same way about their bodies. Everybody, absolutely everybody has at least one or two things that they'd love to change about themselves, physically or even mentally. Probably both, and there's more than two things for most.

Exercise will give you muscle... Not self-esteem...
You need to learn to love yourself for who and what you are, not what other people think... You need to be confident and strong and not be afraid of anything!
I personally think you are an extremely attractive girl.. You have nothing to fear... Just go out there and show the haters what you're made of!
BE CONFIDENT!!!!!!!!!! >:0
I'm always here if you need anything... :3

Lass, dinna fash yourslef. I put up with being ugly every day. I just gave up caring what other people think about my appearance a long time ago. I decided I needed to spend more time sorting out what's on the inside than what I look like. This thing is a only a tool, to be utilized to the utmost until it becomes incapable of sustaining life. Don't worry, lass, you're beautiful the way you are. Trying to change any of it is more trouble than it's worth. Just ignore the body and live inside of it. It's not you, it's not who you are. Good luck, lass, hope you'll be doing better soon.
